01. The ammonia nitrogen caused by organic matter exceeds the standard
High ammonia nitrogen wastewater with a CN ratio of less than 3 requires a carbon source to increase the completeness of denitrification because the denitrification process requires a CN ratio of 4 to 6. The carbon source added was methanol. For some reason, the outlet valve of the methanol storage tank fell off, and a large amount of methanol entered the pool A, resulting in a lot of foam in the aeration tank. The effluent COD and ammonia nitrogen surged and the system collapsed.
A large amount of carbon source enters the A pool, denitrification cannot be used, and enters the aeration tank, because the substrate is sufficient, the heterotrophic bacteria aerobic metabolism, a large amount of oxygen and trace elements are consumed, because the nitrifying bacteria are autotrophic bacteria, poor metabolic capacity, oxygen The competition cannot form dominant bacteria, so the nitrification reaction is restricted and the ammonia nitrogen is increased.
(1) Immediately stop the water inlet for smoldering and continuous opening of internal and external reflux;

02. The ammonia nitrogen caused by internal reflux exceeds the standard
There are several reasons for the excessive ammonia nitrogen caused by the internal reflux: the internal reflux pump has electrical faults (the operating signal is thrown at the site when the trip is stopped), mechanical faults (the impeller falls off), and human causes (the internal reflux pump has not tried positive and reverse, the scene is reverse Turn state).
Ammonia nitrogen exceeding the standard caused by internal reflux can also be attributed to the impact of organic matter, because there is no reflux of nitrification liquid, resulting in only a small amount of nitrate nitrogen carried by external reflux in the A pool, which is generally an anaerobic environment. The carbon source will only be hydrolyzed and acidified without Completely metabolized into carbon dioxide to escape. The problem of internal reflux is easy to find. (3) The nitrification system has collapsed, and the water inflow is stopped. If conditions and conditions are more urgent, biochemical sludge from a similar denitrification system can be added to speed up the system recovery.

03. The ammonia nitrogen exceeds the standard caused by too low pH
There are three cases of ammonia nitrogen exceeding the standard caused by low pH:
(1) The internal reflux is too large or the aeration at the internal reflux is too large, which leads to carrying a large amount of oxygen into the A pool, destroying the anoxic environment, aerobic metabolism of denitrifying bacteria, and some organic substances are metabolized by aerobic, which seriously affects the The integrity of nitrification, because denitrification can compensate for half of the alkalinity metabolized by the nitrification reaction, so the destruction of the anoxic environment leads to a decrease in alkalinity and a decrease in pH. After the pH is lower than the appropriate pH for nitrifying bacteria, the nitrification reaction is inhibited and ammonia Rise. This situation may be encountered by some colleagues, but never find a reason in this regard.
(2) The influent CN ratio is insufficient due to incomplete denitrification and low alkalinity, resulting in a drop in pH.
(3) The pH of the inlet water decreases continuously due to the decrease in alkalinity.
